New Goods on The Block
October 1, 2012We are back again with our lifestyle product watch and we have before you three notable recommendations which will provide you with some incredible dining, sensual and reading experiences.
Coming up first are the cakes and pasties from the Comesum chain of restaurants.
Comesum restaurant chain is a multi-cuisine food outlet spread all over India and what started as a railway catering business around 30 years back is now a fast spreading chain of restaurant cum food outlet. In addition to providing a wide variety of cuisine and menus they also boast of a total visual and gustatory treat. But what really impressed us most was their pastries and cakes with their beautiful designs and which simply screamed yummilicious. Don’t believe us? Just have a look… And they were also light on the pocket.

Next we have a new product from Loreal which hit the market recently. Though it seemed initially as one of those numerous fairness products available, their Youth Code Luminize moisturising day cream turned out to be different as by not being like those doughy toothpasty or pancake-y creams commonly found. Your face does not lose its natural texture while yes, there is a trace of luminosity after its application. The product’s pitch is that it facilitates an immediate intense hydration of skin giving it a sheer dewy finish which is based on their extensive research on gene technology and. ..the product delivered as promised. It is as expected priced high but Loreal did not disappoint entirely as other than being a quality product it also offered a bargain deal where in you get a cute yet elegant clutch free with every purchase of INR 1500/- which is perfect for a romantic evening.
Finally we come to the last of our list and this one is for our book lovers. After Harry Potter, JK Rowling has come up with a new book The Casual Vacancy for her adult fans which is entirely different from the Harry Potter series. The book which was released worldwide on 27th September, climbed up to the number one position In the Amazon Book charts within hours of its release. Published by Little, Brown and company the novel has received mixed reviews, as comparison with Harry Potter was inevitable.
The plot is about the casual vacancy that comes up when a councillor dies suddenly in office in the town of Pagford and highlights the class war and the other social tensions prevalent of our times in the backdrop of the idyllic town of Pagford
It is predicted to even outsell Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows but we have to wait and watch to be sure
So that’s all for this issue. Keep watching our space for some more in the future.
