Here’s Why Salim Khan Is Proud Of Salman Khan

Guess who is the proudest father in Bollywood. It’s Salim Khan. And he has good reasons. His son Salman Khan has just delivered the biggest hit of 2017, making a complete turnaround from his ‘Tubelight’ debacle reinstating his claim to Bollywood’s biggest star status.

And even as they all celebrate the spectacular numbers, Salim Khan is quietly celebrating Salman’s stellar job as an actor. Sources tell us that Salim Khan has apparently been taking pride in his son’s work, as he talks about the film with people. He apparently “got emotional like never before”, tells us a person who has seen the senior screenwriter gushing about TZH.

And that has only made Salman happier. “Salman really looks up to his father and has always desired his appreciation. At times, like in case of Tubelight, Salim Khan has openly talked about his dislike for the film. Letting his father down has always grieved Salman bhai,” says our source. For Salman, Salim Khan’s approval is supreme when it comes to a film.

We all know how obedient a son Salman is. He has apologised for tweets that caused trouble after Salim Khan admonished him.

In the meantime, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ continues its fantastic run at the box office. It has become the fastest Bollywood film to cross Rs 250 at the box office (domestic) and now rushing towards the 300 mark. If analysts get it right, the film should become Salman’s biggest blockbuster so far.

This year he will be seen in Race 3, which also stars, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, and Daisy Shah.
