January 1, 2011As I sit and wonder what is so new this year, I find not much and quite a lot. Not much as it would be same as it was yesterday, but new year made me sit and think what I achieved in the last year. Well, it is nothing compared to what I should have achieved but it fills me with loads of enthusiasm and try achieving those goals with some new goals. This new found enthusiasm means a lot for me.
Last year this day, we started a journey to achieve a dream called Fried Eye and it got bigger than we ever imagined along the way. Another dream that was formed in our minds at the same time is the “Indian Dreams Project”. Our group then known as “Yellow Boyz” organized a workshop on Creative Wring with special focus in Flash Fiction for the children and a Short Story Writing Competition. Students from various schools participated in the workshop. The Speakers were Former General Secy. of Assam Sahitya Sabha Dr. Amal Rajkhowa and Senior Lecturer of Dikhoumukh College, Dr. Pranjit Barua. And the Judges of the writing competition were eminent Journalist Indrani Raimedhi and Dr. Santanu Tamuly, Editor-in-Chief, Mouchaq. This year also we would like to do it by March end keeping in mind the exam dates. You can also contribute to it with your ideas, study meterials or monetary help. We may not be able to make arrangements for tax concessions this year as the process for registration is still under process but we guarantee full satisfaction in your mind. We need your help to make a better India.
Till Then, Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!
